Install the App
Getting started with Contact Form to Any API begins with installing the app from the Shopify App Store. This guide walks you through installation, explains what permissions the app requests and why, and covers what happens if you ever decide to uninstall it.
Install from the Shopify App Store
- Go to the IPS – Contact Form to Any API listing on the Shopify App Store.
- Click Install.
- If you aren’t already logged in, sign in to your Shopify account and select the store you want to install the app on.
- Review the requested permissions and click Install to confirm.
You don’t need a credit card to install and use the Free plan.
You can also install the app directly from your Shopify store, if you are already logged in.
- Click on Apps in your Shopify app’s side panel, and a drop-down will open from the search bar.
- Search the app name IPS – Contact Form to Any API and you will get the results from it.
- Select the app and continue with the installation process.
If you have any other apps already installed in your Shopify store, you will find them in the drop-down.
App permissions & data access
During installation, Shopify shows you the scopes the app requests. These generally cover access needed to add app blocks to your theme, display forms on your storefront, and store submission data securely within the app.
The app does not access or modify your product catalog, orders, or customer accounts beyond what’s needed to display and process forms.
Access the app dashboard
Once installed, open the app from your Shopify Admin.
Go to Apps and select IPS – Contact Form To Any API. This takes you to the app’s dashboard, where all form building, entries, integrations, logs, and settings live.

Uninstall considerations
If you uninstall the app, keep the following in mind.
- Forms embedded via app blocks stop displaying on your storefront.
- Stored entries and integration configurations are tied to the app installation, so export any submissions you need before uninstalling. This is available as a CSV export on the Pro plan.
- Reinstalling later does not automatically restore your previous forms or entries. Treat uninstalling as a reset, not a pause.
